Why did you want to participate in the Threads of Success conference?
I celebrate entrepreneurship. So I want to help in any way those that want to start/grow small businesses.
What was the biggest challenge for you in breaking into this business?
The biggest challenge for me was just taking that leap of faith. Kind of like trapeze work without a net.
What is the one piece of advice you wish you knew then that you do now?
I wish someone had encouraged me to find a mentor group/forum to join that included more experienced entrepreneurs. It can get lonely at the top.
What is the most important thing you hope people take away from your presentations?
The majority of start-up small businesses fail. And the principal reason they fail is because of a lack of commitment to financial planning and budgeting. My goal is to not only help those in attendance succeed, but also thrive.
