Why did you want to participate in the Threads of Success conference?
This is an idea which will lead the way for many new businesses to learn from others who want to share their knowledge and experience. It is also a great way to meet the new and upcoming greats in my industry.
What was the biggest challenge for you in breaking into this business?
When I was getting into this business, computers were not so available. Finding fabric companies, ideas, and teachers who would help me was truly a hurdle. I would have been on the front row of Threads of Success!
What is the one piece of advice you wish you knew then that you do now?
Believe in yourself and plow ahead—no matter what.
What is the most important thing you hope people take away from your presentation?
Everyone wants to feel important. If you can make your students, customers, readers feel special...you will win!
